The Terms and Conditions below govern the relationship between you, the clients, and us, MongolTrips (Fantastic Tour Mongolia LLC). By booking or participating in a tour and any related products or services (a “Tour”) with Fantastic Tour Mongolia LLC. (“Fantastic Tour Mongolia LLC” or the “Tour Operator”), you (“you”) agree to these Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”).
Please be sure to carefully read these terms and make sure you understand and accept these Terms and Conditions.
1. BOOKING AND PAYMENTS
Your booking is confirmed after completing the booking form with a deposit of USD 200-600 (depending on the tours.) After receiving the deposit, we will send you a booking confirmation of trip details and the payment balance. The full balance must be paid 60 days prior to the start of the trip in Mongolia. If you book in 60 days, then full payment is required to confirm the booking. If the remaining deposit is not received by due date, then all reservations are subject to cancellation. Cancellations charges will be applied as detailed below. Remaining balance and payment can be made by bank transfer, international money transfers or VISA and MasterCard (4% of bank charge on credit cards).
2. CANCELLATIONS
There will be a service charge of US$100 per person on cancellations received at least sixty days prior to the booked tour departure. If you cancel your booking after you have paid in full the following cancellation charges will be made:
- 60 days or more: USD 175
- 59-46 days: 50% of the total trip cost
- 45-11 days: 80% of the total trip cost
- Less than 10 days before departure or no-show: 100% of the total trip cost.
These dates refer to the date we receive written notification of your cancellation.
3. PRICES
Scheduled tour quotations are based on a minimum of 4 travelers. If less than 4 travelers are on the scheduled tour, there will be an extra charge of USD 200-400 per person. Minimum number of travelers is 2 people. Hotel price refers to a standard twin room.
4. PASSPORTS AND VISAS
- All travelers must check their travel documents to ensure that:
- Passports have at least 6 months of validity
Visas must be obtained (Visas can be issued Mongolian Embassy or Consulate in your country or at the border upon arrival at the airport or railway station.) If there is no Mongolian embassy or consulate in your country, one month-long visas can be obtained on the spot once you arrive at the airport or railway station in Ulaanbaatar.
5. INSURANCE
We strongly recommend that you purchase full coverage travel insurance from your country of origin from reputable and reliable insurance companies.
6. YOUR BEHAVIOR
All travelers are expected to conduct themselves in an orderly manner and not to disrupt the enjoyment of others. If in our opinion or tour guide, your behavior is causing or is likely to cause distress, danger or annoyance to any other travelers or any third party, or damage to property, or to cause a delay or diversion to transportation, we reserve the right to terminate your booking with us immediately. We will have no further obligations to you and no refunds for accommodation or any other arrangements will be made. Special requests and any medical issues or conditions must be brought to our attention at the time of booking. We cannot be held liable for any actions or events that could have been avoided with proper disclosure of information. Fantastic tour Mongolia is not responsible for the theft or loss of any traveler’s valuables or items of personal property due to the negligence of the travelers.
8. ITINERARIES AND FLEXIBILITY
You acknowledge that the nature of adventure travel requires flexibility and acknowledge that you will permit reasonable alterations to products, services or itineraries by the Tour Operator. The route, schedules, accommodations, activities, amenities and mode of transportation are subject to change without notice due to unforeseeable circumstances or events outside the control of the Tour Operator (including but not limited to Force Majeure, illness, mechanical breakdown, flight cancellations, strikes, political events and entry or border difficulties). No reimbursements or refunds will be issued for services that are missed or unused after departure due to no fault of the Tour Operator.
9. COMPLAINTS
Whenever you feel unsatisfied with any service we provide, please inform your local tour guide immediately to avoid similar problems happening again either before or during your trip. We will take proper actions to resolve it promptly.
10. LEGAL TERM
All terms and conditions are made subject to, and enforced by, Mongolian law. The uncompromised disputes shall be referred to the International Commercial Arbitrary Court of Chamber of Trade and Industry of Mongolia.
